RETREATS
To withdraw from creatures and repose with Jesus in the Tabernacle is my delight; there I can hide myself and seek rest. There I find a life which I cannot describe, a joy which I cannot make others comprehend, a peace such as is found only under the hospitable roof of our best Friend.

We offer retreats and quiet days tailored to meet the needs of your group, parish, school or diocese.
We offer full or half day retreats that are able to be used to meet Catholic Identity professional learning in Catholic schools, as well as residential retreats and workshops for any context including church groups, parishes, diocesan clergy, leadership teams and more.
Drawing on experience in the Ignatian, Benedictine and MSC traditions, we are able to tailor a programme to suit the needs of your context. Matthew can collaborate with others to lead your group through an experiential retreat with input as well as practical sessions.
Retreats that explore notions of ‘secular’ and ‘sacred’ as well as lived-experience are a particular speciality.
Our current retreat offering which can be tailored to suit your context is God in All Things: Bridging the Sacred and the Mundane. This is an experiential retreat that draws on art, music, poetry, theology and taps into participants’ lived-experience to explore how the sacred exists amongst the mundane aspects of everyday life. It has been offered in a variety of settings including schools and parishes, and can be easily adapted to suit your needs. It generally has a practical component and works best when we have somewhere in nature to visit. Contact us to discuss offering this retreat for your school staff, parish community or a small group. Please note this can be offered as a half day or full day immersion.
Recent retreats include:
God in All Things: Bridging the Sacred and the Mundane for the staff of Monivae College, Hamilton.
